We took our proven Model 1 Gate Valve and re-engineered it for steam service applications. The result is a leak-proof, compact, non-rising steam valve that needs no lubrication or adjustment.

The new Kerotest Globe Blowdown Valve combines the best globe valve technology with a non-rising stem design to produce a valve that lets you both throttle the steam and shut it off completely. Both new valves are American-made, adhering to the strict quality standards you have come to expect from Kerotest.

Gate Valve    ****  Engineered Not To Leak ****
Kerotest's steam service Gate Valve features a patented packing, which incorporates a secondary back-up seal for leak-proof performance. A low profile design and non-rising stem make the Kerotest Gate Valve easy to install, even where other valves won't fit. And, the valve is maintenance free, requiring no regular lubrication or adjustment of any kind.

Globe Blowdown Valve    **** Combines Throttle & Shut-Off ****
The Kerotest non-rising stem Globe Blowdown Valve combines both a throttle valve and a shut-off valve in one low profile, compact design. In addition to dependable shut-off, the Kerotest Globe Blowdown Valve utilizes a tapered throttle disc design that allows precise control over a wide range of flow conditions. Kerotest's Globe Blowdown Valve features a unique non-rotating tapered disc design to achieve constant disc to seat line contact. The disc does not rotate while in contact with the seat, thus minimizing seat and disc wear, and reducing costly maintenance and valve replacement.

to flowing media

Valve Body Seat and Seat Bore are fully hardfaced
